I think David Cameron really wants England out of the EEC, but he's not standing for re election, irgo Boris is next PM then, when/if it all goes tits up he can sit back and say "I told you so!"

I disagree on the legal aid bit, Kit, as you shouldn't have to have money to get justice. No-one would fight for their case, if there is always a chance you could lose and end up destitute because of it! Even the rich and the poor have a right to justice!!

More human rights for me,or we could adopt the American system.This is my last comment on this subject cos I just can't believe what paradise people imagine is out of the EU.more work ,less pay,less rights ,the list is endless,I hope Wales stays in. @Grumpy are you really thinking of moving to France and leaving our "proud great nation" here's America's way of competing with cheap labour and there own take on human rights

Yes @miller1098 (Hugh) but it can't be yet unfortunately. When were gone I will maybe think differently but while I'm here and working all bloody hours god sends to take home a decent wage the yes I want out! We are a strong proud nation who's national debit escalates daily as already stated as we are paying £55m a day to be a hated nation. Prices are through the roof because we have to pay this obseen amount of money to Ankela Mercal and her bunch of hanger oners! We need to sort out border control and get our input and export to a decent level. While we are part of the E. U they will continue to stunt our growth. It's a lose lose situation.

I didn't say that, its the appeal after appeal, take it from local court to the high court to the law lords on to the human rights courts, at the tax payers expense the only winners are the lawyers.
OR we could do what the French do ignore the rules and do as they like, ie blockading Ports, or the Italians and Spanish who smoke pretty much where they like(according to what I have been told by people who have been there) you just don't see good old England not playing by the rules. That's what needs to change I think. They can't pull the Draw bridge up now (close the tunnel) it's too late for that.

Can't see what all the fuss is about to be honest, you never hear the Dutch talking about 'In our Out' they just get on with it.
Rotterdam is the largest port in Europe and is busy 24/7, never any strikes over here like in France and the UK (Doctors)

Remember being over in the UK in 2009 and walking through the shopping center in the middle of Salisbury, most of the shops were closed down, wanted to go to an old pub I used to frequent, closed down.
Over here, when a business stalls, for what ever reason, within days it has new owners willing to invest.
I like the multi cultural street I live on with its small shops and restaurants, I hate super markets and we have no 'out of town mega stores'.

Me too Mike, I vote to stay in for exactly the reason Hugh stated, you're better fighting from the inside than out. I just want more control of our countries own affairs, and more restrictions on immigration. All this wanting to get to the UK stems from !997 onwards, Come to the UK it's easy street. Someone has to pay for it.

from what i can gather older people want out with the younger ones wanting to stay in. i tend to lean towards out at the moment.
europe will still have to trade with us as we import far more than we export, they need us as much as we need to trade with them.

I agree with this whole heartedly.
I think if we leave we will have the leaders of all the countries who have grabbed onto the Euro zone ganging up against us and trying to make life harder for us. We shall see in June I guess.
