ps. I bought some mini Hoover tools from Wal-Mart a few years ago. Comes with an adapter to fit a normal Hoover pipe.

I've had a bit more time on the Zed this weekend. I put the upper timing gears in

and then I fitted the vanos and thermostat housing, and everything is torqued to spec.

Next job is to refit the exhaust and inlet manifolds.

We're not far away now @billz

I bought a new radiator yesterday, so that's totally replaced the cooling system. Depending on what Jill's got planned for next weekend I might even have her running soon.

@Nodzed We'll definitely be there, hotels and crossing are booked. If things don't go to plan with my Zed I'm going to buy another one

Nice thought about an Easter run but my MOT expired yesterday so it's not going to happen I'm afraid
