You fixed it yet?
Have ye no faith? ...Course I have ;)

Not before I got sent the regulator for the wrong side. That'll be the last time I presume someone knows which side the near-side is.

I will now be sticking with "UK steering wheel side" or "UK front passenger side" when describing the car!

Finally got a chance to play with the new toy that I bought for my new toy - A 'DAS6 Pro' Dual Action Polisher :)

Never have I ever used any machinery like this before, but it was a doddle and I easily got to grips with the DA on the bonnet and bootlid just for practice today. And here are the results after polishing the offside of the bonnet using the medium cut menzerna in the first pic:

More little updates to Zara coming very soon... Just waiting for them to arrive in the post :)

As promised, another little update...

Zara has lost her name badge!

Having always wanted my own personalised registration, I stumbled across this one the other day and clicked 'buy' fairly soon after. I was looking at a rather expensive BMW related plate, but I figured this one would outlive any other plate because it is name-related - my initials are DSR. Happy David!

3x little mods accomplished this weekend
1x clean car not accomplished this weekend!

Exhaust tips mentioned above have been fitted:

A replica of an unmentionable brand's ram air scoop fitted:

...And finally I performed the old sound generator mod to my engine. No pics, but essentially the mod involves removing a piece of foam from a pipe that feeds the intake noise through the bulkhead. Removing the foam increases noise in the higher revs, and therefore increases the car's SPH (smiles per hour). :D

So, I spent a little bit of money on Bee yesterday and did some early winter shopping, while the price was right. Going to give her a clean today and upload a picture later.

Any guesses as to what I've got her?
@Lee and @GazHyde you're out of this one!

The plan is to get it sprayed to match the car before winter starts (which will probably be next week!!). Although I don't dislike the contrast! Shame my seats aren't red...

Initially I wasn't keen on the Z4 hardtop when I started looking for a car, but now I have one on 'Bee', I really like the change it makes to the shape of the car, and really happy with my investment :D

Yes I agree the hard top makes it look like a different car, mine looks totally different when it's on ;)

Just realised... Red, yellow and black - could my car be any more German right now?!

Looks great, a hardtop on a Z3 changes the look massively and it does the same to the Z4, yet they seem to be more elusive.
Thanks Dave, you're right - I have not seen another Z4 with hardtop on the road yet.
They always come up on eBay, but their price-tags often reflect their rarity.
