There's a major thing that people need to understand when talking about "Freedom Of Speech"

This purely and simply entitles us to an opinion. If we want to express our opinion openly, we must do so within the constraints of the law of the land.
 
I don't find it funny any more just the same old crap recycled. It needs freshening up somehow. I do admire Clarkson for speaking his mind and I agree with quite a lot of his opinions too, but that's not TG it has expired like the "parrot"

Well Gaz, I do miss him on here, as Mr C would say, not many people put up with politically incorrect bear baiting these days and I always considered Bad ///Boy to be the hamster of the motley crew who, at some point, had landed on his head (not in a rocket car, his mum probably dropped him) but at least he did always come back at you with the witty comment...Ha.

The moral of this story (thread) is, who are we to judge? Some people will laugh with you, some people will laugh at you.

Oh well, that leaves me with only a couple of options now, @t-tony or @oldcarman .........?

...and back on planet earth... According to this Jezza fessed up about it and the alleged victim has not filed his own complaint. Could be decent damage limitation on his behalf.

Alternate theories is that he was really scared of needing to change his name to Jennifer and this was an easy way out.

At the end of the day the viewing figures say it all. The show is massive worldwide which is mainly down to Clarkson whether you like him or not. The guy is a multi millionaire doesn't need to work so I am sure he is not arsed if the beeb sack him or not. He could name his price to do similar on another channel tomorrow.
