He’s not sure exactly what the problem was but he did it by using a pressure bleeder at 25psi, cracking the bleed nipples and then pumping the pedal for ages and eventually it began to flow.

Power steering flush, new hazard light switch, put the new sills on and treat the surface corrosion on the trailing arms and she’ll be ready for MOT.

@t-tony Because I don’t really know what I’m doing and am trying to learn as I go along with the help from on here and whatever I can find online.

And I’ll be honest, I’m pretty pleased with what I’ve been able to do (brake bleeding aside) even if it’s basic stuff for the more experienced mechanics/enthusiasts on here.

Why a professional mechanic couldn’t sort it is a question for him I guess!
