Now then mr Percival, I'm building one of these! Looking good pal, I'm way behind you though as all of a sudden I'm busy at work, anyway can I ask what wheels you used, did Brian get you them??
I'm still unsure on my colour scheme but it's going to be something a bit different like yours! ( not red) I'm saying that but who knows yet.

And would I be right in thinking you did a 430??
Thanks
Rik

Hi Rik, yes I bought my tyres through Brian BUT they are only MWS ones. The only reason I went through Brian was because I went for 5.5J on the front, but 7J on the back....and 7J was a special order that got shipped direct from the MWS factory in India, which required a minimum order, plus they were cheaper going through Brian because he ordered in bulk (although still b***** expensive) I am not sure if he is doing wheel orders now.

No, I have not done a 430....I built a Domino Pimlico Premier for my wife back in the 80's.

Not red eh? I'm intrigued....mine actually is red but Rosso Bordeux, a genuine Ferrari colour, but a very dark red compared to Corsa....I think it shows off the chrome better.

Brian has a powder blue one in their shop at the moment....can't say I like it much....but hey, what do I know I am colour blind anyway, so shades don't mean much.

Hope this helps.
Perce

Yea it's the wheel price that's driving me mad at the moment!!
I've a few colour options in my head, but I say not red, but as they say never say never.
Off white, or
Grey or grey ish blue?????
You just watch , it'll end up red!
How longs your build been so far?

Cheers

Build started last September, but it spent 4 months in the spray shop, so actual build started in January.

I reckon it would look good in BRG

That is a beauty of a car. The DNA kit is top notch and the colour you have chosen (via SHMBO) is excellent. What lowering springs did you choose in the end may I ask? Did you stick with 30mm all round Eibachs?)
My compliments.
Dave

Thanks Dave, yes I used 30mm all round, but I used "Cobra's" from Holland. The front looks just right....but of course I have not had a chance to check the back as I have not dropped it of the axle stands yet.
