Britain leaves the EU

By reading various things, this is a view of more people across Europe too. I think the s*** is about to hit the fan at last!

Tony.

Wow I watched question time last night, what a difference,I'm afraid it just shows how ignorant many people were when they voted. Those of you that did your own research and voted because of it I have absolutely no gripe at all.But wow I'm at a loss for words that we were allowed to even vote on such a world changing event.I would imagine this will be the last time we ever will be allowed to make a contribution to world affairs in such a way.big bussnes will either support the EU or try to rip us off to get a better deal.Spoke to my bank manager yesterday as I owe her a fortune, and have known her for years and she personally cares about her customers ,I hope you guys like holidays in the uk.I think the result would be difrent this week now some of the lies have been exposed, and some of the true colours have been shown.Im not a gambler, don't do the lottery but we've taken such a punt with all our futures on a long shot..for what? Some rumour the eu is disintegrating,or we think we might have less immigrants after 2 years or the tories are magically going to save the NHS ,I'm at a loss.150,000 are going to choose our next PM .The representatives of 500 million people chose the eu commissioners.

Jue has said exactly the same Hugh, we should not be able to make such big decisions. We pay our mp's a small fortune to look after us and regardless of in/out or political parties they treat us like mushrooms. Keep us in the dark and feed us on s***!

I was under the impression the your MP is there to represent YOUR views in parliament. Maybe I'm wrong?

Tony.

i think the suggestion of Turkey coming into the EU was the final nail for the UK.

The next pm will be elected by Conservative party members and they appoint their cabinet the general public are not involved unless you are a paid up Tory member

MP - PM? Aren't MP's elected to stand in by-elections anymore? Mp's represent your local constituency and hold regular "surgeries" to hear your views and opinions which they take to the House of Commons to air on your behalf. At least that's what I've been led to beleive ie democracy. Not sure how it's supposed to work with MEP's though. I don't even know who my "local" MEP is.

Here you go boyo,I think these are your ...for now, look like a nice bunch of people http://www.europarl.org.uk/en/your-meps/uk_meps/east_midlands_region.html

Oh look I see something interesting happening...

The Nordic countries want a trading agreement... not control buy Brussels.. Oh dose that sound familiar ?

I must say, I am very dissapointed by the playground antics of both our members of parliament and some of the eu leaders.

Oh Corbyn, 170 to 40 vote of no confidence and you refuse to stand down, errr, why? Why hasn't the Labour party thrown him out and had a leadership contest? Even though he has little power as the leader of the opposition, whilst the opposition is in chaos as well it only de-stabilised our government further. The man is an idiot.

And Mr Hollande, I love your country and your people are great, but the decision as to when and even if Article 50 is excersised is that of OUR parliament and them only, so please shut up! We will tell the EU when we are ready.

If the EU had listened to our needs and been more reasonable in the first place the current global uncertainty wouldn't be happening, the UK clearly is more important globally that Merkel and Hollande wanted to believe.

Come on Westminster, sort your s##t out and get on with it.

One thing that is consistent in the political world since the vote is that some show immoral behaviour.when under pressure and end up ruining their political career.

Compared to Holland, Belguim, Germany and France we have a long way to go before our cost of living reaches their levels. Our prices in the UK are between theirs and Spain. Which now makes us one of the cheapest Countries within the top 5 Richest

Driving around with you it's obvious why it's more expensive, there's more tax paid, and it look like it,you can see where it's going as you tour.

Yep much smarter, cleaner places , no litter, in short they take pride in their country. (Apart from Belgium motorways, they were just shocking!)
