I am probably wrong but, didn't I read on this forum somewhere that the seats too, form part of the roll over protection?

I think someone suggested that but they probably didn't have hoops;)

Yes, originaly the roll protection is suposes to be in the frame around the windscreen and seats, though anyone who has seen inside the seats will have a laugh at the protection they offer. Though to be fair if you look at how the oem hoops are attached and think if i roll at x speed will these actually do anything. Yes if you happen to be unlucky enough to be involved in a roll situation then i would want hoops but at speed i dont think they coyld do alot, still better than no hoops though.

There was a guy on facebook in the zed3 group who recently rolled his zed, he says if he had no hoops he would not be here now. Its abit like switching of stability controll which is fine but i supose its only when your heading sideways towards the tree you think shoot should have left it on.

I am pretty sure my head sticks out above the top of the seats anyway so they are not going to save my head. Best keep the thing upright.
