Bon Voyage!

Hi @Grumpy and @jue1 looks a lovely place and make sure he looks after you after your efforts earlier in the year.

Great place La Roche sur Yon, Try La Rochelle ans Les sables d'Olonne very good beaches as I remember.

Your getting confused @M666BMG it's @jue1 who needs the gazunder and she's no where near 60. Anyway we are ok at the moment but I'll let you know when we need some and maybe you can buy them lol

Hi Brian, we're planning La Rochelle tomorrow but it's Bastille day so everywhere will be closed so going later in the week. Have you been to il de re? Is it worth doing at the same time as La Rochelle?

I never went as was quite a while ago since we were there.

OK worth asking Bri. Looks lovely, there's a bridge to the island and it's so close to La Rochelle it's got to be worth a punt! I'll let you know then when we've visited.

As some of you will know Jue owns a horse called Tika so what better way than to spend the day at a fantastic stud yard close to where we're staying. Spent all day wandering around and they put on one hell of a display in the afternoon.

Was one of my best days ever....even my Dave marvelled at the size of the stallions kit. :D

Well today we visited Notre Damne. I'm in no way a religious person neither is Jue but we were blown away by the shear size and stance of this huge church, it obviously carries a lot of history with the legend of the hunchback.

That's one big horse or @jue1 has shrunk. Sounds as if you are enjoying yourselves.
Lol! It's a mule who's door was so high it was struggling to see over the top! Having a lovely time Brian. Can't wait to get out here permanently.

This afternoon we set the sat nav on scenic routes and bimbled aimlessly around the French countryside with a nice temp of 33°c. Not a rush in us. (You'll like that bit @billz!) It was great, I think we're here on some sort of French holiday week as the entire country seems to be completely dead. Mind you its suiting us getting around. Roads are sooooooo quiet! I wish we were in the Zed but we can't have everything in life eh! :)
