We are here next year but we can't come in the Zed as I'll have the in laws with us and my father in law won't drive abroad. Plenty more visits ahead mate and when we move over here the Zed will be coming with us.Fixed that for you.
That'll keep for next year mate. It'll do the scab good to get a run out.
Tony.
Were having a lovely time Shelly thanks. Off to la Rochelle today.
Looks and sounds great guys.Well today we visited Notre Damne. I'm in no way a religious person neither is Jue but we were blown away by the shear size and stance of this huge church, it obviously carries a lot of history with the legend of the hunchback. View attachment 18178

I think the main Notre Dame is in Paris. This is the church of Notre Dame, we hadn't realised till after I put the first post on about it. Still a fantastic church tho I have to say Brian.it obviously carries a lot of history with the legend of the hunchback.
Is there still the cafe outside selling sandwiches etc
Which you could take and eat while you were looking
Round ???
They were known as the Lunch Packs of Notre Dame
Enjoy rest of your hols !
Cheers Brian

Still got a couple of good days planned before we have to head back .
Yeah it's lovely Dave. My absolute cup of tea! Be happy to have it as our local city when we move over here. It's just got that feel to it that I love, the harbours and the cafe culture, and the countryside just the other side in the Vendee is exactly what Jue is after. Be a good place to set up the Gites, having La Rochelle within an hour will be a good selling point for the business side of things. Can't come soon enough for us.Great pics Dave, we were there a couple of years ago. Lovely place to spend a few hours.
Steve's quote: " it was the 1st time i'd driven abroad and we enjoyed after my nerves had settled after driving on the wrong side into oncoming traffic a few times ".That's a lovely area of France,Vendee. Me and Sara went there and the Loire Valley area years ago before we had kids,on a eurocamp holiday in our little 1.3 Astra it was the 1st time i'd driven abroad and we enjoyed after my nerves had settled after driving on the wrong side into oncoming traffic a few times . Hope you have a great time and drink too much vino .
There is a cafe everywhere in France Bri, they love em!Yes it is Dave !! There is a cafe there as well!!!
Lol! I've never struggled to adapt to driving on the other side, been over here a fair few times now and all is good so far! Jue is great at doing look out for overtaking etc so as a team all is well!Steve's quote: " it was the 1st time i'd driven abroad and we enjoyed after my nerves had settled after driving on the wrong side into oncoming traffic a few times ".
