Bon Voyage!

@Grumpy if you are near Tours, you should pop in and see if you can spot a silver z3 driven by a very nice little English lady lol.

Fixed that for you.;)

That'll keep for next year mate. It'll do the scab good to get a run out.

Tony.
We are here next year but we can't come in the Zed as I'll have the in laws with us and my father in law won't drive abroad. Plenty more visits ahead mate and when we move over here the Zed will be coming with us.

Nice that you're taking time to enjoy the scenery and everything the country has to offer. Enjoy the rest of the trip! JIM

La Rochelle is just stunning! Walkways lined with bars and restaurants, lost count of how many harbours there were. A very cosmopolitan city by the sea. If we can find somewhere in the country an hour or so away from there we'd be very happy. :)
Couple of Pics of La Rochelle.

I think the main Notre Dame is in Paris. This is the church of Notre Dame, we hadn't realised till after I put the first post on about it. Still a fantastic church tho I have to say Brian.
Still got a couple of good days planned before we have to head back :(.

Yeah it's lovely Dave. My absolute cup of tea! Be happy to have it as our local city when we move over here. It's just got that feel to it that I love, the harbours and the cafe culture, and the countryside just the other side in the Vendee is exactly what Jue is after. Be a good place to set up the Gites, having La Rochelle within an hour will be a good selling point for the business side of things. Can't come soon enough for us. :)

That's a lovely area of France,Vendee. Me and Sara went there and the Loire Valley area years ago before we had kids,on a eurocamp holiday in our little 1.3 Astra it was the 1st time i'd driven abroad and we enjoyed after my nerves had settled after driving on the wrong side into oncoming traffic a few times :meh:. Hope you have a great time and drink too much vino ;).
