Hi Andy pretty impressed!! You mentioned that the head on the escort was bored recently. What exactly does that mean? Please forgive my ignorance as that's not something I'd normally hear used about a head. Were the valve pockets enlarged to accommodate bigger valve heads or ?? Thanks, JIM

I may have made that up, I know he sent the head away for work, I thought it had been re bored, but if that's nigh on impossible then probably not!

You can see it's a quick escort and being pushed hard. The z3 kept up well what you got planned for it then ? I have an mx5 that I used for track days it really is like a go cart but runs out of steam on the straights, it's good at brands short circuit as it's nice and bendy but I took it to Bedford and the long straight was never ending lol.

There was a quick mx5 with a mk1 escort that were quicker than me. Just waiting for more videos to be ready.

I've got a few treats for the zed, body brace, Manifold upgrade and mainly better tyres.

Yesterday was on standard road tyres, everything else there was on slicks or semi slicks. I just didn't have the cash this month.

Should be interesting to see how your car progresses. I have a Jackson racing supercharger kit in my garage for the mx5 but never got around to fitting it ! Another all good intentions project that never materialised.

You can see the brakes and road tyres starting to struggle around 5 mins with the MKI Escort and MX5, couldn't brake as late as I'd like.

Red flag, so tyre pressure check at about 10 mins, @Dino D your car is famous in the pits!

Love it !! Had the big grand boy out in mine Andy, Z3 and Z4, not had the young boy or Izzy out yet. Xander loved it, kept saying "Faster Granddad"
