And so it begins again

I agree, and there was that lovely 2.2 up the road he could've got to actually drive . . . . . . ;)=))

Tony.
My mucker paid £1600 for it pal, it will be on Ebay for £2500 in a few weeks, I would have bought it but the 2.8 would have been left on stands forever.

Have read these posts from start to finish. Have to say I’m well impressed great job mate  got to say waiting for next instalment :computer:
Thank you for the kind words Carl, my progress threads do seem to get a bit drawn out, the best is yet to come as I will soon be on interior and exterior

Yellow front as well, come on pal, I am a painter :D

No better time to paint stuff than when it's brand spanking .

Tony.

Whilst I am awaiting the new calipers I decided to start inside the boot, its now fully stripped and almost ready for painting, again this will be done in a neutral colour,

Cmon Sean mate even I’m holding my breath to see what colour it’ll be :nailbiting:

Carl
It will be weeks if not months before I put the pics on, the painting will start in a couple of weeks though, I am going to wait until the car is complete, including wheels and interior :D
Here's a clue, the caliper will be as close to M blue as I can get ;)

I saw a 67 plate Audi Est. tonight in what you could closely call British Racing Green. Would look bloody awesome on a Z3 Sean

Tony.

Just caught up on a weeks worth of posts. Fantastic job @Sean d  attention to detail is second to none.

Changed the gearbox and diff oil today, that was a f***ing shock, £60 I nearly fell over, almost £40 for Castrol syntrax for the diff and and £20 for Gulf ATF
