I'd be drawn to this one I reckon, stunning colour and it wouldn't make it look too modern as purple was an individual colour for a zed. I wouldn't want to be in your position with all these colours

Well that's my guess out the window
Had another 4 hours underneath the Z again, all the rust has now been removed and treated, the whole underside has been under sealed in grey. also removed this nasty thing thats a full spare wheel delete, drilled the spot welds and a couple of bangs and it was off
Doing the brake lines tomorrow full front to rear and fit the rear end back in at the weekend so hopefully will be back on its wheels, I have also decided to do the interior before I paint the car

Brake pipes done, tank straps fitted and the sub frame built up and torqued, I am going to attempt to fit it in one piece,

Thanks pal, Checked my hours today and I have gone over 140 so far, its going to be in the region of 300 when complete, good job I don't value my time, thats about £15000 in labour I had I done side jobs, I could have bought an M for thatLooking great Sean..

Got the frame up and in place, it couldn't have been easier, up on a jack in one piece and it literally fell into place, however thats when I hit a problem, I fitted the brackets to the bottom of the main beam bush and tried to get the 8mm bolts in place, tightened the main nut only to find that the bracket was about 8mm to low, the only answer was to drop the whole frame and shorten the bush sleeves, too 8mm off each side put them back in place and wound them up, they have compressed really well and the 8mm bolts went straight in,
I spoke to Duraflex and he said that they are generic and will need cutting, load of darn if you ask me
