Thanks for the comments everyone. Had to spray the door again tonight as the pdr man couldn't quite get the crease out that was left in. It was only slight and I tried flatting it out but ended up going through to the basecoat. Hopefully polish it back up tomorrow and get back to where I was :ymsigh:
Getting there now all brake pipes done with braided stainless hoses installed. I've also replaced the 25mm spacers at the back with some 15's. Couple of the pics a bit rubbish as it got dark. Just really little bits to finish off now like adding the other tailpipe as I was waiting for a joiner and finishing seats off.
Great work, really enjoyed seeing this car come together. I bet you will be paranoid when you take it out on the road in fear of the dreaded stone chips. I would be :-SS
Cheers guys I'm really looking forward to taking it out for the first time not to bothered about chips as I want to use the car rather than it just sit there may see you at a cruise soon badman!
Thanks everyone I've still got a lot to do couple of panels still need some flatting and polishing but can see it easier now there on the car! Also decided to renovo the roof and put a new window in. What's peoples views on my hardtop white or sparkling graphite to match the grilles and boot trim?
Aceman my missus' mum does vinyl and that's who did the sticker for me but thanks anyway
I've been waiting all day to see these pictures, as I'm working in a school with almost no mobile internet connection. Was really worth the wait, looks stunning.
Love it, honestly do. Hmm, black hard top...thought about that myself.....on silver then.
Thought you said your missus' mum used CD's? Does she scratch?
Your car is looking absolutely amazing
I would go with white, that way you've got two looks the dark soft top and the white hard top. Can't wait to see it finished too.
Thanks again everyone I won't be making it to Santa pod Liam I'm busy next weekend but I don't think I'll quite have it ready for then anyway. Think I'm going to do the hardtop anthracite I've seen a silver zed with a black screen surround and a silver hardtop and it looked a bit silly. If I don't like it I can always change
