In defence of the G29 I think it's a really really really good car, I liked my E89 but I love the G29 for lots of reasons . As for this sort of 507 wannabe you can't improve on perfection so why bother.

Yes i know exactly what you mean , my wife has been telling me for decades thats shes never wrong so i guess she must be right at least occasionally ;)

If youre going for a circa 20 year old convertible the word "lottery " comes to mind unless you really know what youre looking at ( im pretty clueless thats why i drive a new one as my daily ) but my advice would be buy the best you can afford rather than a banger that needs a load of work ...

Isnt there a manual over ride if the electrics fail?
