2nd one Mike. Which would you think was least expensive?

It was. Only $5, I thought was a bargain.

I would've thought those grips were for your fingers, ie along the bottom?

97/z3/2.8. I swapped my 16 inch style 18 for 17 inch staggered style 32. I always liked the 32’s and found a nice deal on Facebook. I had them powder coated locally. The new Connie Extreme Contact 2.0 is a great looking tire in the flesh.

In all honesty I bought these before we went over to the villa, but were waiting here today when I got home.

So, as my old boss at work used to say, "Here's a little job".

It's usually a leak which kills A/C and often very slowly over time. The thing is, is how much it costs to fix the leak. "O" rings are a nice cheap one.

One of these.
3rd brake light seal.
After visiting ZedShed and the team changing my fuel tank straps, I checked out where the water might be getting into the boot from and found a thread explaining it. An easy fix whilst on the driveway, cheap as chips too. From Vertu bay of dreams shop.

As an aside, on a Merc forum I'm on, members get a discount from MB Grangemouth for parts that is worthwhile, is there a similar set up here?

Not specifically for the Z, but for my wall in the home office ready to return to work for those teams meetings. I use background images on screen to post subliminal messages like previous projects undertaken around the world, mushrooms, incompetence, corporate BS messages, holiday destinations etc. Have decided to be a bit more grown up and trendy with this wall art:

ok its on the cardboard packaging on the kitchen floor, but once the wall is repainted, you get the picture. Got it off Etsy on a discount

Update:
now on the wall

Can't believe I only just found this thread 🤣 I might need to create a new username to keep the wife off the scent!

Today's haul:
  • Trim tools (before I break any more clips)
  • Heated seat switches
  • a USB socket that's going into one of the switch blanks

3 little bits of adhesive tape, which could get me into trouble with the "///M" Police. ;)=))

If you are trying to pretend your car is something it's not, its your car to do as you wish. BMW totally devalued the M status years ago, for their short term commercial gain in any case, so it matters little anymore. Most BMWs have a m insignia these days. If I still had a true M car, I would remove the badges anyway.
