Max Verstappen,

Daniel Ricciardo,

I'm not a lover of the concept of Team Orders but today demonstrated Red Bulls daft idea to "let them race" just doesn't work.

Dan had better pace but constantly had to deal with Max, either trying to pass him, or defending. If the team had in instructed Max to let Dan past and just follow without attacking, the pair could have caught and challenged the front runners. (In my opinion!)

As for our league, well, I'm up another place but the chase is getting harder!

Summary

  1. Final practice from 11:00 BST and qualifying at 14:00 BST
To a man, the drivers struggled on Friday, strong winds and tyres with which few were pleased leading to a tricky day punctuated by spins, off-track moments and the odd crash.
Picking a favourite from Friday is tricky and overall it seems the top three teams are closely matched.

Summary
  1. Hamilton fastest in final practice, Hartley crashes heavily
  2. Electrical problem for Verstappen - mechanics working on car

The tow truck has just attempted to lift that heavily damaged Toro Rosso and the mangled rear has just literally fallen off.
The car is in two pieces now.
No chance that's taking part in qualifying.
