Ricciardo crashes into Verstappen - both out

"You are going to have to do him again," Daniel Ricciardo's race engineer had said to the Australian just before the incident.
Verstappen had the inside line, Ricciardo ploughs into the back of him. Wreckage everywhere, both men out.

I think Ricciardo got this one wrong. He was caught in two minds, he is normally so decisive in his overtakes. He just smacked his team-mate out of the race.

I think Ricciardo got this one wrong. He was caught in two minds, he is normally so decisive in his overtakes. He just smacked his team-mate out of the race.
What's happened so far?
- Red Bulls crash into each other, bringing out a second safety car.
- Sebastian Vettel had led for 41 laps. A lock up forced Lewis Hamilton to pit earlier than expected but safety car could help Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas.
- Safety car also came out on first lap after clashes through the field.
- Fernando Alonso suffers puncture after being hit by Sergey Sirotkin. Alonso limps back without one of his tyres but manages to get back on circuit. He's currently 12th.
- Red Bull struggling with battery issues.
- Sirotkin, Esteban Ocon, Nico Hulkenberg, Max Verstappen and Daniel Ricciardo out of the race.
Chris H: Verstappen makes overtaking so difficult, he swerves all over the place. I've got a lot of sympathy for Ricciardo there, trying to predict Verstappen's next move almost impossible.

Eight-lap shootout between Valtteri Bottas and Sebastian Vettel for the win. Lewis Hamilton in third will be waiting to pounce on any mistakes from those two.

Grosjean started 20th, was sixth, on course for a huge points total and a fantastic day.
But there he is weaving across the track looking to get some heat in his tyres and bang, straight into the wall.
Unbelievable.

Hamilton attacks Sebastian Vettel, Vettel responds by diving inside Valtteri Bottas, Vettel locks up badly and goes wide.
Vettel had the lead and is now fourth. Great drama.

So, so cruel luck for Valtteri Bottas. He is three laps from his fourth race win, he runs over some debris, his tyre explodes and Bottas is out.

Verstappens fault all day long Mike. Riciardo was faster all race and had the speed and overtake well on, crashstappen made a second move in the braking zone leaving Riciardo nowhere to go. Impetuous clown.
