F1 Zorg & Badger GP Fantasy Grand Prix 2016

Not a fan but.......Sebastian Vettel's fantastic drive.
The German, a four-time winner in Singapore, climbed from dead last to finish fifth.

Do you get points for watching? :arghh:

Daniel Ricciardo refrained from drinking champagne from his boot. Given the fact he has just had to do a two hour race in those boots in that heat and humidity, it's a very wise choice.

:racecar:I appear to have extended my lead at the top of the league :D

With six races to go, I don't think anyone is going to catch you now @Gail.....:meh:...;)
Sorry, my hardware still refuses to do screen shots so you will have to live with cut and paste.

I appear to be rubbish at this predictions mularky :arghh: Fair play to you @Gail

I'm not great at the predictions either....I rarely get more than one or two right. It's all about having the right team in the first place. ;)

A leaking fuel breather pipe forced the Dane to jump quickly out of his car after just two laps of the first practice session, and it took repeated attempts to extinguish the fire as fuel continued to escape while the team frantically tried to empty the full tank.

Great race but shame about Hamiltons engine. Interesting comments on the engine, "43 Mercedes Engines and only mine fail". That's just put the pressure on somebody. Just bad luck I feel though, or is it .............;)

Yep Andy, weird science indeed.
Who ever got their predictions right on this race must have a crystal ball...o_O

Interesting comments on the engine, "43 Mercedes Engines and only mine fail"

'No failure planned'

Mercedes executive director Paddy Lowe has been speaking to Sky Sports about Lewis Hamilton's failure, and Hamilton request for answers as to why it seems to happen to him more often.

"It is difficult. No failure is planned. We work as hard as we can to increase reliability. We have eight Mercedes power units in the field and there is no pattern for why it should fall on Lewis Hamilton's car."

Agreed, not really one for conspiracy theories, at this race of all races. In the heat of the moment but the words from Lewis will defo put additional and unwanted pressure where it's not needed. The Fat Lady won't be singing until November, let's see what happens.

'It doesn't sit right with me'

Hamilton seeks answers from Mercedes

My question is to Mercedes. We have so many engines made for drivers, but mine are the only ones failing this year. Someone need to give me some answers because this is not acceptable. We are fighting for the championship and only my engines are failing. It does not sit right with me. I will try and recollect myself and try to get myself together for the race next week. There are many decisive races but this is one of those. Someone doesn't want me to win this year but I won't give up. I will keep pushing.

the common denominator is the driver. He could just be driving it that little bit harder than the others. I doubt there is a conspiracy theory worth chasing!
