Just the 19inch wheels and run flat combination Paul, a bad mix. The style 296 appear to be the worst of the lot.

Got the 3 cracks welded. ÂŁ90 including R&R the tyre, and balance and they took the wheel to be repaired and collected it. Very happy with that tbh. Got it painted and put back on.

I have the dashboard lights issue/s…see pics. I also have a six cds changer to fit - if the wiring is there!

6th OK for me, would like to change front pads for the red stuff ready for its track day and if on the lift would try to identify this weird noise on the left side. Head lights could do with a buff as well.

Would like to have dropped in but I'm out on the Malton Forest Rally on the Sunday and need at least 1 day at home per weekend to get jobs done. Maybe I'll get back one day , only been the once but miss it.

A busy morning at the Shed today. E85 Z4 Auto box oil and filter change. Drain plug had been rounded so we had to drain it by sump removal which made life a bit more interesting.

After which onto the lift to change Diff. Oil, rearshockers and top mounts and 1 rear spring. After a butty from Colbourne's cafe job finished and Stuart was away.

Alex came over, along with Mick Sykes from the Yorkshire Z4 Group. Nice to meet Mick in person and put a face to a name. Mid way through the morning an Orange Lotus arrived and that was today's group.

Got tools cleaned and put away, brake cleaner and granules soaking up the small oil spill. Finish off tomorrow. Now get some steak in the oven and chips made :)

Sorry i couldn't be in two places at once, would have been good to come over. At least i had a excellent breakfast and a good natter at the York Marina BMW car club meet. Hopefully make the next one

Cheers Tony not done the Z4 been helping Chris get the Mini ready for Cadwell, needs a lot more work than mine. Struggling this week only Wednesday free at the moment as off to NEC for the Classic at the end of the week. Its hard being retired when i was at work i would just book a day off.
