ZedShed (Midlands).

Nice meeting you Roy @Rha , your exhaust does sound nice ! And I wasn't driving quick Officer, honest !

Enjoyable few hours, thanks again @t-tony for hosting.

See you all at Zedfest . . .
Now at last I can put a face to that great user name “AleNod” . Always wanted ask you how you got that name, but it’s obvious to me now. Good job we didn’t visit a pub yesterday with all that nodding would’ve cost me a fortune.
Will look you up at the fest, with that great sense of humour and wide knowledge base I enjoyed our meeting immensely.

RHA,ROY.

PS; No officer never met him in my life before, so when he left his phone in the pub and I chased after him all I had was the licence plate so couldn’t afford to loose him. As for 125mph!!!! didn’t think my Z could go that fast “honest”. Then his wife called when she went into labour.

Good to see you both along with Phil and his Dad. Enjoyable putting the world to rights, and discussing options on future cars.;)
I think both Roy and I were impressed with the performance of the 2.0 turbo of Alex’s car too.

Tony.

Absolutely - thoroughly enjoyed both your company.

(Groan) I've been called out again today (by an E86 driver) that mine's quick. It's only a 2.0, not like your lovely straight six's . . . But thanks !

Hey people is there any interest in a Shed day in the near future?
Thinking October 30th., November 6th.th. or 13th. (Correction Covid Booster jabs on 13th.)
Pit boards in place.

Boards look bril now in situ Tony.

If theres one of those delicious breakfast baps available I'll always pop along and hold a spanner. Weather is starting to become a factor mind . . .

I do (finally) have a flu jab on 30/10 so may not make that date. Wait, aren't you intending to be in Florida around then anyway ?

No, not quite yet Alex. May have to use the substitute Cafe for lunch.

Like what you’ve done with the pit boards Tony! By the way, how thick are they- they look considerably thicker than scaffold boards - which I was thinking about for my new pit.

Nice boards Tony, and I see you've had all of the car wrapped now ;)

I think they're 45mm thick but I will measure one in the morning to be sure. I had my mate's Suzuki Jimny jacked up on one last week.

@GZed boards are 45mm. thick.

Good news Alex, @AleNod Tuesday and Saturday's closures were down to technical issues. Power and Gas, however.

I thought it only proper that I should make sure they're up to standard. It didn't disappoint.:)

Well that's a "Bag o' rats". MOT fail on cracked n/s/r wheel. Took it off tonight after tea.

Having given the rim a good clean I see 3 cracks.

I'll take it to get the tyre off in the morning then take it to get the cracks welded.
On the way back I noticed that in 300 miles it would show the Zip code for our place in Florida.

Thanks for measuring Tony. I’ll get the same for mine - if you can jack up a suzuki Jimny on them that’s a good enough test for me. Glad I didn’t go with scaffold boards now….

Oh that looks awful @t-tony , if thats all you can get I'd consider moving if I was you . . .

I'd better pop along though, just to make sure like . . . 😄

Sorry to read about the mot Tony.
