No, just that Windows 7 support finished this month with no more security updates etc. So it was time to update.

Should be ok Tony. We're going out with friends in the evening but only local so should be fine;)
 
What did you say was the matter with my driver’s side washer arm @t-tony ?
 
"Wiper arm"? it has a lot of wear in the spindle/sleeve allowing it to move sideways as it turns to wipe the screen. So much so that it catches on the underside of the bonnet. My Z3 did that too.

No Mike, I didn't get around to doing that before I sold the old girl. The folks who bought it lived on the street next to where I worked but they left the following year and I haven't seen the car since.:(

Looking at discs and pads...would they wear well if they are performance ones or not necessary? Aka waste money?
