Zedshed (Midlands)

Not hopefully anymore Ian, the money is in the Bank. Sorry to hear about the thumb, you going to tell us how you did it? Nice to have sold the house before the weather gets cold for sure.

Tony.

Have a great day spannering, and buttie munching.

It would be a 450mile / 8 hour round trip for me, but one day I will make the pilgrimage.

Cheers Malc, we always have a great day here and we sometimes get some work done too. Not sure how far it is for Roy, a bit more for you I imagine mate. If you ever get up here mate, your butty is on me.

Tony.

An accident with a razor sharp 1” chisel.
I sharpened and honed them a few weeks ago. They sliced through wood without any pressure. Should have known better than stick my thumb in the way. Upside was they’re so sharp I didn’t feel a thing.

Said I would come up to your next soirée. Sadly, after foolishly lopping off the end of my thumb last week I’m think I’m going to have to give it a miss.
Great news that you’ve hopefully got a buyer. Must be a relief. I’d give you a thumbs up, but ....
What?! what the heck have you done @Redline ?

Hope it heals quickly mate. I suppose the upside is that you can definitely sharpen a chisel.;)

Great news Tony (i think) but that garage mate, pipe dream for me

Shirl spoke to the new owner late this afternoon Paul, turns out he is on his own, is into cars (albeit American cars) and he goes to Florida regularly. She's going to meet him tomorrow to impart some info that he needs to know. I was thinking earlier that on a Shed day we have got at least four cars in there to work on at the same time.:(

Tony.

Blimey, took a while to find this thread again. Didn't get the usual notifications on the run up to a Zedshed day and I thought I'd gone mad!

As long as it stays dry we'll have a great day, see you all soon!

Yep, see you tomorrow mate. Weather predicted to be overcast but essentially dry.
As of about an hour ago we're a "one house" family. Well, in this village anyway.

Tony

ps. Shame really that big garage could've been handy if it rains.=))
Great news mate. Sorry can't be there today but I've got to go to Leicester, Derby and Nottingham this morning, might as well be working :arghh:
