@t-tony, my front brake seized on quite badly recently (I’d never have been able to drive it to yours) so it went in for a replacement and I had them do the oil filter gasket at the same time.
Although this is a job off the “to do” list at Zedshed, I’d still very much like to come along to help with the other jobs and learn a bit more about maintenance if that’s ok.

I do indeed I know. I’m just keeping my eyes on a few things that seem to be “misbehaving”. Hoping they’re simply temporary hiccups.

I'm afraid thing aren't looking good for this one. The builder starts soon and we need the Z garage to store house hold items so the Z is going on holiday and won't be back before Christmas. I've told it to be brave and have a great time but I'll shed a tear when it goes away.

House is upside down with a temporary wall were the French doors were, the back garden looks like a builders merchant and I have to move 800 bricks in the morning to make way for another delivery.

Will do Dave, enjoy the DIY mate. It's a long time since I was doing all of that when we built this place in 1983. I was having a couple of hours stacking out for John before gong to work and then after tea working till dark . Was a long summer but well worth the effort. Take care mate and see you soon.
