Zedshed (Midlands) Saturday 7th. Dec.

What a great day here at the Shed again, made extra special by a visit from the guys from HQ.
I also learned that you can't trust a bloody thing that Roy geezer tells you.=))=))
Met some new faces today and hope to see them again too in the future.
Shame some of you missed the hot chocolate:):)

Tony.

ps. Sorry no pictures from me, too busy.;)

Really wanted to get over and see you guys today but it just wasn't possible this time. Nice to see the sheds getting on although your still a bunch of southern Jessys! :D
Can’t let you get away with that Dave, cos I managed to hitch a ride up to Tony’s this morning with them so called Jessy’s. Felt quite at home with both even though I don’t consider myself a northerner or UGLY.=)).
Shame you couldn’t make it Dave, the combined expertise and knowledge of those there today was so overwhelming the name calling actually stoped quite early on plus no fights broke out. Tony and Shirl put on a good eat and drink and I got a ride out with Bozzy in that lovely blue Z3 of his to fetch the £50 worth of bacon rolls ( yes all you Jessy’s BACON rolls) from the cafe. Then another great ride home in that great little John Cooper works challenger 210 of Martin Brennan’s. Thank you Martin.
Missed you Dave, well just a bit anyway.=))

Roy.;)

Looks like a good turnout Tony and good time had by all some faults put to rights as well .
Good to see you got it dry my journey north today was a really wet one .
Stephen .

Thanks Roy I think!

I had a great day, learning a lot , and managed to put names and faces to the forum names. Butties superb, and thank you to @Tony and Shirl for their hospitality.
Driven down to Norwich to see my son play in his band.....at the pub now and not sure about this.... they sell ear plugs at the bar !!!!!

I will upload some photos when I get home tomorrow

Looks like another great day was had at ZedShed (Midlands) again.
Sorry to miss you all today:( and especially the visit from ZedShed HQ

Really good day. We can’t match those bacon butties, they were huge! I also met quite a few people I’ve never met before. I’m so envious of all that space Tony has.

Thanks for your hospitality Tony. Pleasure as always.

Didn't know you were there Gaz, obviously didn't recognize you - sorry:oops:
Don’t worry Adrian, I lost 4 stone since we last met and you won’t be the last to not recognise me because of it. I did help myself to some of your choccy biscuits so all good

Great Shed and good to meet some of you that I’ve “chatted to” on here in person. My thanks go to our ever generous hosts, Shirl and Tony, and their Christmas treats. Lovely scrumptious and oh-so-naughty. I hope you both have the opportunity to relax tomorrow: you deserve to after our bunch of 16 (!) turned up!

Unbelievably for me, I didn’t take any photos at the Shed but have a few from Soper BMW for you all to salivate over.

I will upload the ones of my car on the M11 waiting for a recovery truck later. They are on my phone

Rear n/s tyre exploded after I hit something on the road......It rattled round the wheel arch, then the tyre went bang.

Not an experience I would like to repeat.

Glad you're ok. How's the car?

Ooooh my little 1.9 looks nice and shiny. Sorry your day ended not too good, presume you ditched the spare in favour of a tin of gunky stuff? You had good quality tyres from memory. Did you and zed get back safely?

I hope you got home ok Malc. So sorry to hear this mate.

Tony.

This is the car sitting by the side of the road :arghh:

I have roadside assistance and the truck was with me within half an hour. Hardest part was making the call with all the traffic noise ..couldn’t hear a thing !!!! Especially after watching my sons band last night.
The young guy was excellent, phones all the local tyre places looking for a new tyre, then after having no luck said he knew a part worn shop in Enfield, phoned them, they had one :) and so took me and the car to Enfield in North London.

Rear tyre replaced with a good secondhand one and only cost me £30.00

The inside of the old one was full of shredded rubber

Then a few detours due to M25 congestion, had to go anti-clockwise rather than over the Dartford crossing, a storm on the M3, and me and the Zed got home.

I will get underneath next week and see if any other damage.:bookworm:
The weekend was 515 miles of fun in the zed.... with a Hiccup!!!!!

Looks like the mice have been in there too! Might be worth checking front tyre also in case that threw up whatever it was that did the rear. Glad all well in the end.
