And the majority of zedders are not as idiotic as some of the people that have felt the need to flock to the parks and beaches and not care less about any social distancing rules recently. If it goes ahead and rules are set out I very much doubt anyone attending will break them. The zed community is hugely respectful between one another.
 
Surely we can all go to Zedfest and if any of us are questioned about it we can just say, "Well recently I have been concerned about my eyesight so I thought it best to have a drive out and see if I could avoid hitting anything." Just following senior Government advice!
 
The latest situation affecting Leicester is a bit of a worry, lets hope it won't affect our plans, keeping an eye on here awaiting a decision.
 
Do we know when the decision will be made as to whether the event will be taking place or not? (all depending on what the givernemtn policies are of course)

I had a phone call from the Link Hotel in Loughborough today ( this is where we are booked into for the Saturday night) to say they are currently still not open and may still not be open in August :(:(.

On the plus side they offered us alternative accommodation at another of their group hotels ( if the link doesn't open) .
Thankfully on Google maps it is 0.7 miles away a 4 minute drive so at least its not miles away.
