Yeah.....back then his name was Zed Clampet..............FrankieBack to the use of "zed". Apparently it dates as far back as the 14th century, and the French "zede" which became "zed" in Britain. It was also common in America, before the, umm, "unpleasantries" between the colonials and the Crown...![]()

. It was meant simply to find out how the members from different countries pronounced 'Zroadster' or 'Z3,4 etc'. You might assume that as it's an English language forum that users would pronounce Zroadster like most of the UK (zedroadster), but of course in the US they pronounce the letter 'Z' zee (zeeroadster).
