Yep it defo does it for me, be interested to know just how much ground clearance on the front. All it needs now is a nice aero rear bumper, like this one below. Lol

If this one fits on your e86 you could always make me an offer. Would even consider a straight swap one good car for another. lmfao.

Bumpers a different shape, cheers for the offer. Skyer also do a rear carbon valence. I actually like the stock look.

Yep so do I (but only trouble is everyone else has the stock look). Need some pics in the open air to show us the new look even better. Have you lifted the front at all.

Kept the ride height the same and modded the fangs to sit a bit higher. I can’t just change the height without re corner weighting the car.

Well done on that one then:thumbsup:. That coupe is probably the best handling car I've ever driven including the DBS.
Wouldn't want to drive it unless it was the same or even better if that's possible, of course you now have the LSD which is supposed to make an an improvement but only you would be able to tell. Think it's safe to say you and the Beast are as one when out on the track. :scorecard::scorecard:

Jealous not much.lol

I really like the look Lee, and those headlight brows work to slim the headlights. One of Roy's Mods I believe. Something similar might look good on an E89 front bumper?;)

Tony.

After the cosmetic work was done I had noticed the sump was starting to get damp. This was a good opportunity at 150k to remove clean and inspect everything. Quite an involved job as you need to lower the front subframe.

was proving difficult to make a cuppa that day due to it being so cold. We needed to thaw out the water to make a brew.

That’s an hour of my life I won’t get back. Just from chatting at work I never fully appreciated the time and effort you have put into the car. Fair play mate! Makes me want one even more!!!

Some more prep getting it ready for this years track days. It was time to fit the new BC coilovers I’ve been saving. Big change to this set over the current model, they’re 12kg spring rate instead of 8kg I’ve been running.

managed to pick these up cheap when someone had sold their car before fitting.

Worth noticing how the 8kg spring is a lot wider aka more progressive.

old shocks looks ok. The rears had started to weep which made things feel odd at high speed.

Fitting never takes long. Gave the brakes a quick service, really needing to finish these discs so I can swap over to the E46 M3 disc, I have a spacer fitted at the mo to work with the OEM Si disc.

while she was in the air we fitted some new Meyle tie and tow rods you don’t get many years out these items before they start seizing. I need the geo doing front n rear again ready for this years track days. First of which is next month at Donnington Park :D

In the back ground I’ve been building an Si rear subframe kit so I can do a swap. It’s taken me 6 months + finding arear subframe as they’re bespoke to the Si models. Now away for grey zinc/powder coating.
