So is the sticky steering issue on the Z4 related to this adjustment r is this something else?
It can be this, also the sticky centre bearing where they pump grease into.

So I've been doing a lot of overtime recently to fund the next line of purchases, First being some new track wheels seeing as Sam has stolen mine =))

Last weekend I visited a Cosmis supplier (track wheels), I was gutted to find the ET's were too low so I couldn't get them to fit right. So the hunt goes on.

Shame they don’t fit I like the second set do the rears have a deeper dish?
Yeah they were my fav too, the rears were a 10j and had a 4" dish, they looked amazing.

The Cosmis XT would look great on your blue coupe, needs a bit of shine to lift it from the present dark wheel colours that are so common now, but then that's only IMO, old petrol heads never move on much. :whistle:DO THEY???.

Wow, what size are those? Gotta be 19 or 20's. Pics like this don't do anything to dissuade me from wanting a Coupe!
No idea but they poke a lot. They run insane wheels in the US!

too much poke. real shame as they are nice wheels.

no room to have some metal taken out of the backside to get them further in?

Just a small update, I ended up going to New York instead of buying wheels and more car goodies, I'm blaming the Mrs!

Me and Nodzed ended up booking a last minute track day round Bedford. I knew my brakes were due a change but didn't realise how much close till I got on the track. By the end of the day the rear pads had come apart.

Car did good although I was struggling with grip. I had my track wheels on but it was so cold I couldn't get much heat.

Front discs - see how I started rubbing the grooves out =))

So it was time for some replacements and upgraded fluid with Braided lines.

The rear z4 brake lines are in two parts on each side.

Also some track brake fluid with a higher boiling point.

I'm also fast approaching 130,000 miles so I gave the girl some fresh Fusch Titan oil. I also upgraded the DRL's I fitted to some flush LED's

There will be a very big update coming in the very near future, My MOT runs out in 2 months and my handbrake has failed. To replace this I've been told its a prop shaft job out. So I'm planning to drop everything. Solid flywheel conversion and LSD. This will be the first Z4 subframe drop done in the zedshed so we'll make it a full write up.

Nice write up. Lucky the pads didn't snap in half!

Good luck with the subframe drop.
