You get a lot of car for your money with the E46 M3 Verts.

There is a Phoenix Yellow Z4 3.0 not too far from me, I'm seriously tempted, if only it was an Auto, I'm a lazy git.;)

An e46/36 M3 will be my ideal replacement to the Z but the v8 folding top M3 has it's appeal but won't be as much fun to tinker with compared with older models that have such a developed aftermarket.
A e46 m3 looks good in any color with those pumped up arches and bonnet, a classic from day one.

Given Lee's technical abilities I reckon he should just get the V10 M6 vert, he'll be fixing it and fueling it every 5mins but never mind!

Just had a look at M3 convertibles...wow there are many about, make Z3 look rare for sure!
Lots of choice and prices starting under 10k..very interesting...will be fun shopping for one!

Didn't realise the V8 model had stabilised at 20k+, was hoping they down at 15k and hopefully 10k next year lol!

Had a drive in a 650i the other day...now that V8 is tempting...car is just huge though.

Good luck with the sale Lee.

Ha yes. I'm amazed at it really. Never owned a car like it.
I drove back from picking her up and was amazed at the number of people who thought I was fair game. Even an x3 2.0d took me on at one point !! Not for too long though.
Drove through Bristol last night and got the nod from a nismo 350 z. The z kept up with it even though there was one God almighty turbo on the 350. I was amazed.

We are all just pleased that it hasn't disappeared and it's staying on the forum! Had a few which have ended up disappearing and we lost track of them
