Got them thanks very much and having a play edit on the iPad. Got the oranges and reds enhanced on the sunset which looks quite nice.

Are the front lenses on the lights smoked/tinted or is it just the light on the photos?

I'd love to see them once you've had a Play around with them..
Yes the front lights have been covered in a black film that has thousands of small holes in it to give a tinted effect.. Was done by previous owner

I'll send em over to you to see what you think. I'll have to look up that film as it might look nice on the black car too.

One of my front side lights is cracked a little bit so debating if I should go with black ones and side repeaters. Do they reduce the light emitted much? I'm a bit wary of them after seeing similar on novas etc and you hardly get any light out of them.

Had a play yesterday and fitted the original rear lights.. i think i prefer them..

Also after having the side badges referbed i decided to get a new rear badge so i bought an original Bmw badge.
I went for the S54 badge as i prefer the shape B-)

Had to scroll back to the first page of this thread for a comparison, but I agree with you Liam. The rears look much nicer :-bd but depends on what looks best with the dark boot lid (assuming you are still doing that?!)

Looks good as usual Liam B-)

I like both sets of lights but as you have de-tinted the fronts it will match up with the rears being standard as well. Are you going back to original sidelights and indicators so they are standard all round?

If your still getting the rear panel sprayed the tinted lights would look better though :coolsteer)

Agreed with the above, I prefer the standard lights, the tinted ones don't offend me but they are quite lairy/aggressive. I think if you take off the tint on the fronts/indicators/markers it will look a bit odd keeping them on
