Just an update…..

For anyone living up country, who may not have the confidence or equipment to install a set of straps , I will be dropping some sets off with tony ( @t-tony ) at Zedshed ( Midlands) so anyone needing a set will have an option to have them fitted there. Unfortunately eont be this saturday but probably the next Zedshed day
Obviously there will be hours of training involved to ensure Tony can fit them properly :whistle: :whistle:=))=))=))=))
or basically 10 seconds before he says to me ‘ Bu**er off you tw@…… 😂😂😂😂😂

Hi @Mazza, are you able to make the carbon canister straps too ? I think they are finally NLA from BMW :(

Thats funny , they had lots in germany not so long ago, as I got a couple to send with mine to the USA for a couple of customers

Could I ask which dealer you used then?

I've asked a few now for both 16131183405 and 16131185035. I've been told both are unavailable 😕
 
I got mine through Chandlers BMW in Rustington. West Sussex
Do you want me to contact them tomorrow and see if they have any.?

I ordered the .........5035..... didn’t know about ......3405 . Whats the difference?

I'm not 100% sure what the difference is to be honest, just the 3405 was superseded. I wonder if the diagrams show any differences

Spoke to my contact and the 41 in Germany have all now been sold . A lot of the Germany stock went to the USA last year.

Thanks for checking @Mazza ! Really appreciate it. Crazy to think 41 have sold that quickly. Have you got any plans to make those straps too or do you know of any alternative solutions ?

I had thought about shot blasting mine and having it powder coated or something, but it looks so rotten i'm not sure it would survive :(
 
I can certainly look into getting a batch made
