Silver and grey cars look nice with burgundy roof. I think it would look good even with black interior. At least I hope it does coz that where I'm headed.

I changed my original black roof to green ages ago. The rear window had split in very cold weather. I have a green interior, so it was obvious to do in green.

Fellow owner had a Burgundy roof done by Jack, looked very good when done but faded very quickly as he had to park outside all year round, I would stick to black if mine ever needs doing.

... And just to confirm he Does NOT offer a zipped in rear window option.. I requested it yesterday and he explained for what he charges it's not viable

So all done ..just back weather was atrocious with floods and motorway delays...Z didn't miss a beat..about 500 mile round trip ...very happy with the new top lovely bloke

It does amaze me that it’s still cheaper to use 2 tanks of petrol to get there to have your roof done.

Booked in later this year.. When I stacked up the cost of replacing the rear screen on a 22 year old slightly less than perfect original hood Vs Jack Smiths putting a new one it's was a no brainier.. Plus I get to visit hopefully sunny Swansea

Does he do anything other than remove the old fabric and replace with new? Does he do any tinkering with the frame and rubber seals to keep it water tight?
