Does he do anything other than remove the old fabric and replace with new? Does he do any tinkering with the frame and rubber seals to keep it water tight?

He checked the seals and rear drain holes...one of mine was blocked which he cleared...don't think he repairs frames but you never know

Booked in later this year.. When I stacked up the cost of replacing the rear screen on a 22 year old slightly less than perfect original hood Vs Jack Smiths putting a new one it's was a no brainier.. Plus I get to visit hopefully sunny Swansea

Probably worth a little bump on this thread to update the waiting list - Jack is currently taking bookings for June/July. I was expecting a 6+ month wait when I called, but seems the wait has come down a little, so that was nice.

I'm booked for the beginning of August and am going to make a weekend of it with Mrs B.

(Any suggestions of things to do during the day in Swansea are welcome! - keep it clean!)
