where to advertise that’s a dilemma. 🤔🤔
Yes Mark, my brother went that route with Munich legends, he had a Z4 🙄, they did muck him about at the time, but that was years ago, a change of staff since, also they know my car well, albeit I haven't recently been there due to the distance from me now.
Hi Ray, I sold my Porsche 987 on car and classic early this year, really easy. And I only got good clients come to look, and it’s Free. give it a go. I would defo recommend. 👍

Once it’s on they also offer the auction sale that you can upgrade to at any time but they do change a % cost for that service. But Ive a z3 3.0 auto with 30k miles go through last week for 11k. So it does pull the higher end prices. Good luck with it buddy.

She is an Imola red 2 s50. I will share more once I've collected her on Monday.

Busy day yesterday, and it turns out the M Roadster I was due to pick up has a few problems.
The Vanos requires a rebuild to kick off, and the history on second inspection seems a little dubious, also the respray looks as if it’s been over sprayed in areas. this was noticeable on the bumpers and sills.
So, I walked away, the chap selling returned my deposit and I'm still on the look for a M roadster.:(
A bit sad today, but I still have my money in my account and I'm still looking for the right car.

Wow, sorry to hear your misfortune, Vano’s can be a bit noisey but it doesn't mean it needs attention 🤔.
re the bad paint on body work, that’s a bit different, I’m still looking at selling mine Kyle, unfortunately the distance to view can be problematic but through your experience it’s well worth it.
once again sorry to hear about this 🤔

Buy off an enthusiast with a known car and you wont get messed around! (There's a nice one for sale on the forum is there not?) A lot of the Ms out there for sale are for sale because the owners realise they need some serious dosh spent on them and cant afford it so decide to unload them, pay a bit more and buy the right car. BTW if you look at any M that still has its original Vanos or a BMW replaced unit put £900 away as soon as you buy it because sooner rather than later it will need rebuilding, when me and the now current owner was looking through the very extensive history of my old M it had its first Vanos replaced by BMW at around 30k, not uncommon.

Z3M prices are over the top down here. Only 3 on the market at the moment, AU$90k, $129k and $130k. None are really low mileage and they only sold for around AU$70k new. Worth shipping a few down. Just a thought !
Tom, do you have any links/details to the 2 for sale at $129k/$130k?

Wow! £69000 for a second hand M is mental……..do these cars actually sell? The cheapest Z3M on eBay is £15995 and has been on there for months, some are twice as much again.
Dealers don’t seem to like lowering their margins even when the market is stagnant, how long do you hold onto a vehicle in the hope it will sell for an inflated price?

Here you go @Hylts, this is for sale on Carsales.com.au, the last of the 3 I mentioned previously. Don’t forget this is Australian dollars. Even so, prices for M coupes down here are over the top.
cheers Tom

Is £16k an inflated price? I would suggest its a fair if not very reasonable price.
I'm not claiming these figures are completely accurate but looking at the production numbers of the total RHD M roadsters made it seems that 918 with the S50 engine & 79 with the later S54 engine are a close if not accurate number.

As this is the total of right hand drive cars made, some of these cars must have gone to other countries that use RHD cars hence reducing the numbers delivered to the UK market. I have seen varying information on how many are left as its obvious over the years some will have be written off, stolen etc, but its somewhere in the region of 67 S54's (the Unicorn cars) remaining, and 475 of the original S50's left, I cant say if that's UK or total numbers and these figures I am quoting are a few years old now.

This makes the cars reasonably rare in comparison to non M Z3's and a few other similar makes of roadster.
This is why they are and should be now worth a good price and if anyone wants one they are going to have to pay up as they will only ever become even more rare in the future.

Anyone want to discuss M Coupe prices? =))

Maybe not making my point very clear( nothing new)…….. not suggesting £16 K is an inflated asking price but it looks pretty good and it’s been on sale for months.
