Spot on, spoke to a soft top specialist a while back who told me that the fibers in the roof tighten up when wet.Brian4 said:I was speaking with Tony from S.T.C.S in Coventry who did the repair and he says the roofs are waterproof naturally and do not need any other proofing on top as all it does is seals in the dirt and mould and doesn't let the roof breathe.
