Happy with the work but it was raining when I picked it up but I have got to know the owner quite well recently. They even cleaned the engine bay as well.

I thought the spots/bubbles was original but you had to put them all back on after you washed it!!! and it was terrible to polish with all the hollows. :D :-bd

Pleased for you Brian.

Have a good look over it in the dry.

The rain masks any small marks.

:D

It looks good in the photos Brian. Thursday looks good for a bit of sun, you may be able to get out with the roof off.

We've had the rear window replaced today as that was split in the hail as well.
Really pleased with the results and the roof was cleaned as well. I was speaking with Tony from S.T.C.S in Coventry who did the repair and he says the roofs are waterproof naturally and do not need any other proofing on top as all it does is seals in the dirt and mould and doesn't let the roof breathe.

Any way I am very impressed with the work he did and would recommend to anybody around the midlands.

Spot on, spoke to a soft top specialist a while back who told me that the fibers in the roof tighten up when wet.

Pleased you have your zed back without its spots - the roofs work just the same as new zealand rugs for horses - in the dry they breath and in the wet the fibres close up and make them waterproof :D afterall, Mo's must be kept dry :D

I've been doing a few more tidying jobs recently.

Chassis brace off de-rusted and repainted with stone chip, it was a scabby looking thing before.

Then I was really sad and removed the bonnet locks and cleaned them up. Ready to be refitted.

So i'm slowly working my way through it. Got the rocker cover gasket coming next week so will change that and have a run out with bubbles to Duxford.
