Them wheels look awesome and nice work on the console. Did you need to trim it much to get the OBC to fit? I think I might do this with mine and get a volt gauge, the clock never seems to keep time and the temp gauge is not 100% accurate and as the OBC does both of these it seems a great idea to fit the OBC back in.

My thoughts when first viewing this FIRST picture on its own:

WOW!!! THAT'LL HOLD A LOAD OF CUPS. Let's see..............The next time I leave Jersey to drive down to see @t-tony in Florida, I could fill one with coffee with Amaretto cream, another coffee with Hazelnut cream, one Tea with milk and sugar, a McDonalds Shamrock shake, a plain vanilla shake, and a bottle of water. Leaving Jersey, that should at least get me to the Maryland House on Interstate 95 before I have to stop and pee...........................................Frankie

It was not much hard but made little nervous while i was trimming everything to fit well;)
Needs the same chrome ring that has the heater rounds.
IMG_8902.JPG
It have a female housing at bottom. It is made to fit the chrome ring male part.

IMG_9458.JPG

Gauge hole must be trimmed to fit this ring.
And from inside it must be made a recession for obc body. To make it dive in to the ring tightly
IMG_9078.JPG

Then i just glued it.

It was not hard but i was afrait to destroy gauge trim cover as it is extremly rare part;)

That looks like it fits very nicely. Good Job. I couldn't help but notice the cat in the first picture. The cat looks like it is in the tub. It reminded me of a cat I had when I lived in my last house. Unlike the tub in my present house, that one had shower doors instead of a curtain. About once every 2 months, I would pick up my cat before getting into the tub for a shower and quickly close the shower door and set the cat down. I would turn on the shower and get washed. The cat would get soaked and cried and pawed at the door to try to get out. After I was washed, I would soap up my hands and 'pet' the cat getting her fur soapy at the same time. I would speak to her gently while "petting" her and before long she was covered with soap that I worked into her fur. All she could think about was how to get out and never regarded me with anger. I would turn the shower back on and used to fill up a cup so the shower along with cups of water would rinse her clean. As clean as she normally was, I always was surprised at the amount of dirt that was hiding on her body when I rinsed her. I towel dried her thoroughly before letting her go and she never scratched me. After she was completely dried, her fur was absolutely beautiful and very clean and soft. I did this her whole life and she was always healthy and it never bothered her. She lived a long life. I still think of her now and then.......................Frankie

Some fantastic work, those wheels are special!
Those wheels are more then just wheels for me;))
I bought them 2,5 years ago for my privious z3. It was some kind of present that i made for myself at the day when my doughter was born ;)
But i did not install em on previous z3 , it newer left service and i sold it by parts.
Then wheels were stolen. I was trying to find them for some month . It was a great detective work made by me and my friends. I was fantastic, dramatic, little bit comic and wery interesting story. It is so sad i can not write it here becouse of my pure english. But as you can see it was happy end. We found them and escaped from robbers in another town. We also escaped two more sets of rims that were stolen too and gave them back to their owners;)))
We loaded honda accord by
4x 17 oz futuras
4x 19 work rims
2x 19 bbs lm
And 8 tyres!!!

;-)

It is me happy after 500km trip with escaped wheels;)
