Hi Frank, if you think Misty is smiling, it will be nothing compared to the grin on your chops when you get her out for that top down run.
Well done mate, keep up the good work.

A fair bit of labour involved Frank, if you were nearer to me I would offer some time and help. Good luck, you made the right choice mate.

Tony.
Softly! :)

Well done mate. Good to see another one being bought back to life. It'll be worth it and you'll have a sorted car when it's all complete and you'll also get to learn a lot about them for future repairs and maintenance. Keep up the good work.

You've made a cracking start Frank, keep it up but don't rush it, it's all part of the fun of owning one of these great cars mate. Oh, and if you think your birthdays are flying by, .................................................. ;)

Well, new to me at least, but in *so* much better condition than the originals! Plus I have the advantage of knowing (thanks to members of the forum) of *how* they actually twist!
Loads of info on here Frank, all you need to do is ask.

I've thoroughly enjoyed these last few days - it's taken my mind off work and is probably the first birthday I've properly 'enjoyed' in recent years - who'd have thought just swapping mirrors out would've done that?!?

You're right of course, not rushing this, but it *is* nice to have functioning mirrors - they even move when I use the controller pad - it's the small things! Tbf, I'll not be able to rush this anyway, unless a couple more oligarchs decide they need moving :-/

And as for the rapidly advancing years, well I just wish the hangovers would pass as quickly, but that appears not to be the case!

Good work Frank! Fine colour choice !
I was lucky that one of them was Atlantableu blue. I have already started looking through the forum, researching colour matching and diy spraying....!
