Got me thinking after something I just posted on another thread so let's get your thoughts. Doesn't have to be full on sporty just what you like or have owned and left good memories behind. There is no right or wrong answer, if a 1973 Austin Allegro in mustard does it for you that's cool, just don't admit it! :D

I'll start:

1, MK2 Granada 2.8i Ghia X

Owned one of these when I was 20 and god I'd love to have it back. Couldn't afford to run the bloody thing but it was like being sat in a posh hotel, I thought I was the doggies danglies in that.

2, BMW 507 roadster.

The car I have admired all my life but will never afford. They always say never drive your dream car you'll be disappointed!

3, BMW Z3

It's got to he here. Never kept a car so long and i will never sell it unless for a Z3 ///M in Imola. Every single time I drive it it puts a smile on my face, to me that's priceless.

I wonder if they do lowering springs for the 507:whistle:

Hmmm. Two owned and one not.

1. BMW Z3 (mine :D) my fave and is a long term keeper

2. Ford Fiesta RS Turbo Had a white one in the 90's before children and a dog. Cleanest car I've ever had!

3. Ford XR4i (sadly this one never made it on the drive). Much better looking than a Cossie and a unique six-light body shell

My two favourite cars are ......
My Z3 :)
A Mini Cooper ( I need one of these cars but only a original) :);)
I haven't got a 3rd car =))

Liking your number 3 choice Andy. I too was a big fan of the 4i but didn't like the later 4x4i. It's lost its way for me.

Agreed mate, too sterile. Especially the 2.0 last throw XR4i :arghh: shocker!

That 507 looks nice, but my favourite, which I posted on here on a thread some time ago, has just sold for a record price. What a coincidence!
It is the beautiful 1960's Aston Martin Zagato and one has just sold for £10 million.(or might have been Dollars)

That's 1?

I tend to want a mix. I’d have:
- Tesla for every day driving
- Z3M for sunny weekends out
- 66 Mustang Fastback because I want one!!

My wife can stick with the discovery (the family workhorse)

1. BMW Z3 - aesthetic perfection, as above I'll never get rid of mine. Big NA engine in a tiny body, RWD, proper diff, lovely hydraulic steering, relatively simple engineering. They just don't make cars like this anymore.

2. Austin Mini Mayfair - first car, inherited from brother via mother, good times. Go-kart claims are all true.

3. Panda 4x4 - what's not to like?!

Was going to put something expensive / unattainable at no.3, but always loved the idea of the little 4x4 Fiats that can go anywhere and mix it with the big boys, so put that down instead:)

I'll go with your 66 mustang.

I've owned many cars so it's hard to pick out three.

1. Has to be Jills current car. Fabia 1.2 Monte Carlo estate.
It just drives so well for what is a cheap car. 110bhp, all mod cons, 58mpg, £20 Rfl. This car has stopped me buying some much more expensive cars for the family. I'm not sure we'll ever change it.

2. A crazy Polo mid engine job by Iain Birch, had 420bhp per ton, it tried to kill me a few times.

3. Renault Spider, just because of it's rarity and peoples reaction.

Pics to follow, I'm still trying to get my head around this smartphone.
