This was back in December - We then got in the car, drove over the Menai bridge and right down the valley - a lovely morning it was.Fabulous picture Ian.
Tony.
That's a stunner mate!
Normally you only get a few minutes of light like this but it lasted something like 30 minutes - I just watched it.What a cracking shot
Its the essential elements of the view condensed to create that raw and powerful feelings that we get and see with our own eyes.Almost surreal!
Reality always beat the imagination, but you must be at the right time in the right spot.
Shelly - Thank you - Its nice, but, this one however is drop dead gorgeous (and it's just the way it was!)What a fantastic photo![]()
I have thousands of fabulous sunset photos from the caribbean but this is in Mauritius. It is one of the delights of going places like that.We saw some sights like that on St. Lucia a few years ago. Stunning.
Tony.
No filters - It is a RAW image processed in Lightroom and then converted to mono and toned using Nik Sliver Efex Pro2. That all enhances the tonal range to create the view that you see (the brain processes what you see far more than what cameras can see). Both cracking shotsis that first shot a special camera using filters?
St Lucia has changed dramatically in the last twenty five years but the sunsets remain unchanged.I took these 4 years ago down in the Florida Keys with jus my phone camera, just imagine what someone like you could do with a proper camera Ian.View attachment 50864 View attachment 50869 View attachment 50870 View attachment 50871 View attachment 50872 View attachment 50873
