Its not just the thrill and fun of the drive, but also to go places and see sights like this!

Snowdonia from Anglesey

Fabulous picture Ian.

Tony.
This was back in December - We then got in the car, drove over the Menai bridge and right down the valley - a lovely morning it was.

What a cracking shot
Normally you only get a few minutes of light like this but it lasted something like 30 minutes - I just watched it.

Almost surreal!
Reality always beat the imagination, but you must be at the right time in the right spot.

Its the essential elements of the view condensed to create that raw and powerful feelings that we get and see with our own eyes.

What a fantastic photo :p

We saw some sights like that on St. Lucia a few years ago. Stunning.

I have thousands of fabulous sunset photos from the caribbean but this is in Mauritius. It is one of the delights of going places like that. :)

Both cracking shots  is that first shot a special camera using filters?
No filters - It is a RAW image processed in Lightroom and then converted to mono and toned using Nik Sliver Efex Pro2. That all enhances the tonal range to create the view that you see (the brain processes what you see far more than what cameras can see).

I took these 4 years ago down in the Florida Keys with jus my phone camera, just imagine what someone like you could do with a proper camera Ian.
