Minty now that looks exactly the same as mine and in my opinion looks spot on.. it gives the car a much better stance.. I bet you are well happy with that

How do those stud conversions work then? The stud is not flush with the wheels... Is that the point? Just a cosmetic? Are they all coloured alloy?The ines that bolt to the hubs are min 25mm so for the rear only.
I run 25mm rear and 12mm front on my 78's.
Hubcentric with extended bolts but have now gone to a stud conversion with extended shiny nuts
You can just see the poking out below.
90mm studs all around but could have gone for 75mm for the front (90mm allows for up 25mm spacer).

Yes, I can see even the guys like myself who like to keep things standard have opted for spacers. I've bought a set of schnitzer spacers 20mm rears and 10mm fronts. So from what I've been reading that's not too extreme and shouldn't look too bad even at a standard 3.0 ride height. Mind you @Low Rider thought my car was sat really high up. Not sure what you guys think?Much much better with the wheel spacers on

The studs replace wheel bolts so they are always on the hub (like older cars used to be).
It makes it simple to slide wheels and spacers on instead of needing different length bolts each time you change not mention easier lining up the wheel.
They come in various lengths so you can have them not poke out. The choice of nuts is literally endless, different colors, lengths, styles, open end, closed end, different materials etc etc. here is some idea of choice: http://www.driftworks.com/wheel-nuts/#isPage=3
There are also slim line nuts with internal spline drives too for wheels that have smaller openings for the wheel nuts , neat way to not damage the finish.
I believe a big reason they are used on track cars is that you can see by eye if a nut is coming loose.
I agree, i must investigate some myself. As for the ride height, They look better lowered but with all the speed humps and rough roads, I prefer to keep the ground clearance.
Yes, on second thoughts I think you're right Sean, I did think it was 30mm. I'm happy with the look now as I like the fact that the distance between the tyre tread and the arch is pretty much constant.
I'm not too keen when the gap reduces towards the top of the tyre, so no further lowering the car for me.
