On a very good day you can see the Flyde coast from top of Great Orme,but we have just put the Barbours in the car ---- going to the Dales in the morning.

Yeh but they have pies in Wigan............I think................ anyway a friend of a friend of a friend who knows somebody who lives in Oswaldtwistle which he tells me his friend says is near Wigan and who says that in Wigan they have pies see so there!......... Things were easier in my life when I had my Lotus Elan? I had no friends and life was simple see? Anybody want to buy a Z4? Oh and a slightly used meat and potatoe pie?
Must admit to enjoying a few pies in Wigan,with of coarse mushy peas.

you are so lucky there's so much to do and see.Llandudno so close to Conwy castle lovely the little town.the little orme beautiful views along the coast and not quite as big a stroll as the great Orme.On the way there you'll pass bodelwyddan where I was lucky enough to stay for a month a couple of years ago and they managed to keep me on the road for a bit longer .tThe drive from Abergele to Llanrwyst is brilliant then drive over the river bridge and stop in the tea room then on to surf snowdonia or on to Bethesda the longest zip wire in Europe.drive up towards betwsycoed over the mountain

If you d o taken the Abergele to Llanwrst road , be aware of cyclists. I was on 5 miles of it yesterday and it full of cyclist who do not consider the motorist has any right to be using the road.
They also seem to wear black so they are hard to see in the tree lined sections.

Aaaahhhhhhhh!!!.........cyclists? How come nobody mention this before eh? Well I'm sorry but there is no way that I am wearing Lycra see...... no not never so there.
Great place to stay, easy reach for the Snowdonia Range. Some of the best driving roads in the UK.

It would appear that I am taking my 19yr old son to Manchester airport this morning to catch a flight to Milan which in itself is strange because he is going to Switzerland? Strange how the younger generation do things back to front and inside out. Its no wonder the insurance companies don't like insuring them in cars. Anyway in keeping with his navigation skills I am planning to go from Blackpool to Manchester airport via Scotch Corner and then come down the A1 and join the M62? Well if you think about it the journey is just as daft as flying to Milan when your going to Switzerland? Oh and if anybody sees a very confused person in a Mineral Grey Z4 anywhere in the North West looking completely lost please take pity on him................ it will be me?
