Mine arrived this week also but as I have the ski compartment it needs adjusting so Nathan is sending a new base that is slightly shorter where it meets the armrest.

Seat bushes to replace the black gunge which was all that was left of the 25 year old originals..

Fitting took a while, all the usual problems, but a quick test shows seat movement has been eliminated.

That's interesting - did you buy aftermarket or OEM? I replaced my grommet a couple of weeks ago (bit the bullet and paid for OEM) and with a little fairy it pushed home nicely with a satisfying SNAP

Time for some paintwork TLC - I've not done any serious auto detailing for over 10yrs. A light clay, soft polish, seal and wax - think that's the right order

Not with it insitu, but its only two bolts so easy to remove if needing to use the flap.

I don't know about you or your significant others, but mine insists on using enormous insulated cups, and they are always too big for the flush-style cup-holders in the Z3.

So ahead of our road trip to Spain, I 3D printed an adapter that fits into the can-sized hole and snugly holds her current favourite cup
