What have you bought for your Zed this week?

Seat bushes to replace the black gunge which was all that was left of the 25 year old originals..

Fitting took a while, all the usual problems, but a quick test shows seat movement has been eliminated.

One antenna grommet, a real pain to get completely down even with silicone grease.

A new wash bottle top up filter, the easiest fix ever.

That's interesting - did you buy aftermarket or OEM? I replaced my grommet a couple of weeks ago (bit the bullet and paid for OEM) and with a little fairy it pushed home nicely with a satisfying SNAP 👍 😊

Time for some paintwork TLC - I've not done any serious auto detailing for over 10yrs. A light clay, soft polish, seal and wax - think that's the right order 😆

OEM so should be easy, but got there in the end

That looks great, nearly bought this but I hesitated I am guessing you can’t open the ski flap compartment anymore?
Not with it insitu, but its only two bolts so easy to remove if needing to use the flap.

They do Z3 and e85 mats too

'Built not bought'

I don't know about you or your significant others, but mine insists on using enormous insulated cups, and they are always too big for the flush-style cup-holders in the Z3.

So ahead of our road trip to Spain, I 3D printed an adapter that fits into the can-sized hole and snugly holds her current favourite cup 😎
