It is a great idea but it is the amount of time it takes to keep the information right across the forums that I can't manage. I do not know how Ian manages it, I can't. if you fancy posting a link through from the other sites that would be great, but I am not sure they will allow it?

Very interested, however finances a bit low at present as just paid for hotel for Silverstone. Do we have to pay up front for hotel, or pay on the weekend?

Hi Ron

The hotel is Ok with a non refundable deposit of £45 so that they do not get the "book and run" bookings and settle the rest of the bill on the weekend. They are of course most happy when people pay up front but that is not a necessity. Hope this helps!

I have just got back from the USA and have not chased up again since I got back but as far as I am concerned we have numbers to make it a nice drive and I have checked that Cotelle House is open not closed until the season which was great to find. I have not yet completed the route proving but we do have a few bookings at the hotel. Oh and I have started to spot a larger number of Zed's now local to my area so hope to get some publicity in the local papers.

See you soon and hopefully we have had this years winter snow which will mean we will get a great cruise.

We will be so pleased to meet up with another Registrar we so want to be a bit of a catalyst for cross forum fun it is great for us all because we all have the same interests. If you get a chance to take a look at the Top gear episode series 15 episode 4 you will see Richard and captain slow push Jeremy's very tall Citron over the cliff right next to the hotel. The rock formation and and location are not done justice but you will understand when you see them.

I have just emailed the hotel to get a list of the bookings that they have so that we know how many rooms are still available.

Just so that people know the Local BMW Dealers for the whole of the South West have now picked this up and are going to provide a presence also I am meeting with the Journal which is a Westcountry local newspaper group and they are going to do an article(s) on both the Westcountry Cruise and also the Zedfest and M-Power Event at Silverstone Classic.

I will keep people informed.

For the locals that come to the cruise and are not staying so that we can Breakfast with the "residents" we can get a Breakfast at £6 per person - cereals, juice, tea & coffee, toast, full English. I am definitely signing up for that! I think it would be good to try and let them know of numbers if any other locals register, please just post on here if you attending and would like a breakfast.
