I was trying to think of you a few weeks ago. I was trying to remember who it was who had a horse for their avatar. I thought you would appreciate this picture of a birthday card that I had posted for @Shelly :>93mph? Not me, guv.

I've just changed my daily driver to a car with the start/stop mode on it. It's sh*** and I can't stand it. It's turned off permanently!Don't you just love it? I had a similar experience the first time I came over there and rented a car. I would come to a stop and the engine would stall out. The first time I thought it was just a quirk, but then, EVERY time I stopped. I thought WTF, is this how they care for their rental cars? I then saw the switch that disabled the engine cut-off that was meant to save fuel when you were stopped. Who the hell thinks of these things. They just wanted to see if I could take a joke......................Frankie
Who told you that then? The parking lights are on the indicator stalk as well.

Old bloke I used to know swore that using a raw potato, cut in half, and rubbing it on the windscreen worked a treat.
Never tried it myself though.
Don't understand why it needs to be cut in half though?I can't remember mate, some old fella when I was in the lakes I believeWho told you that then?![]()

I Agree I use rain X (Disclaimer: other products are available) on the Zed and can drive in heavy rain at motorway speeds (always driving accordingly of courseDays when the sun don't shine all the time?Mind you, good glass cleaner and enough speed you don't really need 'em anyway.
Tony.

Am sure wiper blades work better. Potatoes don't have fixing points. Also - Don't the seagulls dive bomb your car while you're driving to pinch the potato?Old bloke I used to know swore that using a raw potato, cut in half, and rubbing it on the windscreen worked a treat.

Bumbling my way along today in the rain 1st speed wipe worked fine, "brill I thought". Got to the lights and they packed in, going back to working only on intermittent - bu**er! Set off on green and started working again! !!

I must have a real problem - I can get some of them to rotate when I'm stationary and all to stop rotating when I'm moving - both seem to be accompanied by various loud noisesI noticed the same with my wheels, for some reason they rotate faster when I speed up, and stop when I am at traffic lights.
Must check the handbook![]()
that will be going sideways then.....I must have a real problem - I can get some of them to rotate when I'm stationary and all to stop rotating when I'm moving - both seem to be accompanied by various loud noises![]()
I have seen a funny yellow triangular shaped light on the dash board. But I found if I push a certain switch it doesn't flash, then the other stuff happenshooliganI don't get any of those ...............................I have seen a funny yellow triangular shaped light on the dash board. Damn, looks like I haven't been here for a few days. Luckily my girl doesn't know how old I am, she might damage more than one foot. Keeps forgetting my birthday, too, although I won't forget hers.I was trying to think of you a few weeks ago. I was trying to remember who it was who had a horse for their avatar.
