WELL I DIDN'T KNOW THAT

>93mph? Not me, guv.
I was trying to think of you a few weeks ago. I was trying to remember who it was who had a horse for their avatar. I thought you would appreciate this picture of a birthday card that I had posted for @Shelly :

Don't you just love it? I had a similar experience the first time I came over there and rented a car. I would come to a stop and the engine would stall out. The first time I thought it was just a quirk, but then, EVERY time I stopped. I thought WTF, is this how they care for their rental cars? I then saw the switch that disabled the engine cut-off that was meant to save fuel when you were stopped. Who the hell thinks of these things. They just wanted to see if I could take a joke......................Frankie
I've just changed my daily driver to a car with the start/stop mode on it. It's sh*** and I can't stand it. It's turned off permanently!

Rum thing when the car is more intelligent than the driver. Make you yearn for a Morris Marina, a car so unintelligent even the driver could understand how it worked.

Old bloke I used to know swore that using a raw potato, cut in half, and rubbing it on the windscreen worked a treat.
Never tried it myself though.

I've tried it, ended up with potato skin all over the window  Don't understand why it needs to be cut in half though?

Days when the sun don't shine all the time?;) Mind you, good glass cleaner and enough speed you don't really need 'em anyway.

Tony.
I Agree I use rain X (Disclaimer: other products are available) on the Zed and can drive in heavy rain at motorway speeds (always driving accordingly of course:thumbsup:) and don't need wipers, its great stuff if applied correctly and last for months and no smearing when the wipers are used.

z3 stops at junction driver brain stops starts off again & stays on intermittent
best 1 i ever heard was from my boss came to work & told me a light kept flashing on & off on the dash board
if he speed up the light flashed faster slowed down the light did asked me to have a look took the car out
& yes it did every time you went passed a street light =))

That's why my wipers go slow as I only do 25 miles per hour =))

Am sure wiper blades work better. Potatoes don't have fixing points. Also - Don't the seagulls dive bomb your car while you're driving to pinch the potato? =))

Bumbling my way along today in the rain 1st speed wipe worked fine, "brill I thought". Got to the lights and they packed in, going back to working only on intermittent - bu**er! Set off on green and started working again! !!

I noticed the same with my wheels, for some reason they rotate faster when I speed up, and stop when I am at traffic lights.
Must check the handbook :bookworm::D

I must have a real problem - I can get some of them to rotate when I'm stationary and all to stop rotating when I'm moving - both seem to be accompanied by various loud noises

I don't get any of those ............................... I have seen a funny yellow triangular shaped light on the dash board. But I found if I push a certain switch it doesn't flash, then the other stuff happens:thumbsup:

Tony.

Who? Me?=))=))

Damn, looks like I haven't been here for a few days. Luckily my girl doesn't know how old I am, she might damage more than one foot. Keeps forgetting my birthday, too, although I won't forget hers.
