Of all the shows I've been to I think I enjoyed that the most. lots of social interaction and lots to see and do. Looking forward to the write up on those of us who got our cars carbon cleaned (not terra cleaned)

This guy was kept busy all day.
It'll interesting to hear from those who had it done.

I'll do a separate writeup on the Carbon Cleaning later when I have time. Everyone can chime in on that. I'm seeing decent improvements after driving 100 miles so far.

It was great to see all the cars there, I turned up at 2, but still all our group cars were there, while the rest of the groups have started to push off.

Sorry I didn't get chance to chat to anyone on your stand, I was there with the BMWEnthusiasts lot but did venture into your stand and we commented on how well put together it was. Nice to see so many lovely Z's in one place. I get ripped for mine in our forum!

Weirdly myself and a buddy managed to photo bomb whilst walking across to hand a ticket to one of the lads.

How did the light blue Z get on with the overheating problem? I was a little concerned in the queue with mine as it likes to creep up to 3/4 on the water temp needle.

Next time I will come say hi and introduce myself :)

I saw your car on the stand Lewy. Looked mighty fine too.

Theresa got home safely on the back of a break down lorry. The header tank on the coolant system split so we could apply a temporary fix.

Well, what a wonderful day. Large turn out of Zs, good company, lots to see. Now the serious bit. I was sat down just about to start eating a ham roll when a seagull got me, just a flesh wound on the right arm, it was soon cleaned up and we carried on. Later Maxine bought some raffle tickets for the Cystic Fibrocis charity and one for the mini convertible in the museum. Towards the end of the day the awards were made and the raffle was drawn. I was looking forward to having one of those hybrid BMWs for the weekend but that wasn't to be, But the very next ticket out was mine(Maxine put my name on it) £150 worth of car detailing, great and very unexpected as they had sold loads of tickets. I was thinking thanks seagull they say --it's lucky. We returned to our car and began to pack up, I was at the boot when another seagull or it might have been the same one, got me again, this time properly spattered but not just me the car and to make It even worse the wind deflector net got it, this converted it onto fine droplets all over the place. Still we cleaned up enough(there is only so much you can do with tissues) and started our shortish journey home only to be confronted with a traffic jam and more sh1t of the horse variety on the Marchwood by-pass. There were about 40 gypsy buggies racing on the main road utter chaos, even an emergency ambulance was delayed by them. Anyway they didn't spoil a great day for us. Now looking forward to the mini draw in November with all that sh1t I must be in with a chance. Thanks to Gaz for all of the organising.
Mine got dive bombed twice too. The first one burned into the paint

Nice to see you and Maxine again, but don't get your hopes up for the mini, I bought the winning ticket :) the man who sold it told me

What a great weekend, a lovely cruise on Saturday, the meet at Beaulieu and a bed for three nights from a fellow Zedder :) plus meals and excellent company, never laughed so much :D
Everyone is soo friendly, buying our Zed was the best decision we have ever made.
So thanks to @GazHyde for not only organising the day but for also running .org :thankyou:

Very kind of you to say so, thank you. Certainly looking a bit more desirable than a year ago but plenty to go yet to bring her up to scratch.

Glad to hear that Theresa got back ok, must have taken the edge off the day.

I'll be sure to keep an eye on the meets section and maybe tag along. Looking for a stand to jump on for Gaydon this year as BMWE don't like the set up and refuse to go. I say life's too short for that malarkey!

Just to add my :thankyou:to @Bazza for putting us up (or should that be putting up with us) for the weekend, we had a real good time and for the cruise on Saturday. Then also to @GazHyde for organising a superb event. It was a great day with lots to see and do. It was great to see old friends and meet some new faces from the forum. Roll on the next one:thumbsup:.

A few pics from me, first the cruise with some of the EAC on Saturday:
