Write Up VanityBMW Beaulieu

How we managed to remove the air intake system on with a child's bicycle repair kit is a testament to the skills of the team
And also to the simplicity of these great cars too Gaz. Well done guys.

Tony.

Hi all, a great day today with all the guys and gals. nightmare of a run home M3, M25 and M20 were not kind but our daughter had cooked us dinner with a nice glass of chilled in the garden. Thanks all for your time and effort, and great opportunity to chat with many of you.

A few pictures from me, with a little filter; first for @Mac Romans & @Cathia777

Awesome day people. We have now a benchmark for next year. We shall have to organise a stand and organise into colour groups too. =))

Some of a few of the many.

A lot more to sort. More of the people than the cars. It's nice being social ..

I've had a fantastic weekend away with my boy and you zedegree chums! We've arrived safely back in Derbyshire.
Special mention to the hardcore camping crew @S54addict @Low Rider @BMBabe and @Mnbrennan. That evening was so much fun I'm thinking a weekend cruise over 2 days with camping could be amazing.......

The only drawback of camping was that my phone battery ran out before I could get any car picks at Beaulieu. Got few from the campsite....

And I couldn't resist this one....

Great day and great see some familiar and new faces. Thanks @GazHyde for organising this day out.

Great photos :p
Thanks for sharing :)

I flipping love my car. Everything about it. It didn't miss a beat all weekend and it's an absolute joy to drive. Although it was too dark to remove the dust and dead flies before I tucked it into the zedroom last night...

@Mac Romans I will keep an eye out on my friends threads on Facebook. Jack who was the official photographer posted over 400 yesterday. I need to look for a few more and also yours too.

Well, what a wonderful day. Large turn out of Zs, good company, lots to see. Now the serious bit. I was sat down just about to start eating a ham roll when a seagull got me, just a flesh wound on the right arm, it was soon cleaned up and we carried on. Later Maxine bought some raffle tickets for the Cystic Fibrocis charity and one for the mini convertible in the museum. Towards the end of the day the awards were made and the raffle was drawn. I was looking forward to having one of those hybrid BMWs for the weekend but that wasn't to be, But the very next ticket out was mine(Maxine put my name on it) £150 worth of car detailing, great and very unexpected as they had sold loads of tickets. I was thinking thanks seagull they say --it's lucky. We returned to our car and began to pack up, I was at the boot when another seagull or it might have been the same one, got me again, this time properly spattered but not just me the car and to make It even worse the wind deflector net got it, this converted it onto fine droplets all over the place. Still we cleaned up enough(there is only so much you can do with tissues) and started our shortish journey home only to be confronted with a traffic jam and more sh1t of the horse variety on the Marchwood by-pass. There were about 40 gypsy buggies racing on the main road utter chaos, even an emergency ambulance was delayed by them. Anyway they didn't spoil a great day for us. Now looking forward to the mini draw in November with all that sh1t I must be in with a chance. Thanks to Gaz for all of the organising.
